The Consultation

Thank you to everyone who participated in our public consultation on the Watford Health Campus. The feedback we received was very positive. In total we received 161 responses to the consultation questionnaire, of which:

• 66% said they supported the Watford Health Campus proposals
• 71% agreed that West Herts would benefit from a new major acute hospital
• 29% of respondents did not support the Watford Health Campus proposals
• 4% of respondents were undecided about the proposals for the Health Campus

The six week consultation programme involved a road show exhibition visiting Watford, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead and Rickmansworth, a newsletter and questionnaire available from public buildings, and an online questionnaire.
