How the proposed Watford Health Campus site looks today

Covering 26.5 hectares within West Watford the site comprises many different features, hemmed in by a complex and congested traffic system. Badly in need of regeneration the site currently consists of the existing Watford General Hospital, Watford Football Club’s Vicarage Road Stadium, a run down and commercially unattractive industrial estate and decommissioned power station site, allotments plots, a disused railway line and sidings and the river Colne.
